The war that started in September of 2020 took the life of Vahe Meliksetyan, a promising clinical pharmacist, scientist, lecturer at the YSMU Chair of Clinical Pharmacology, and simply a patriotic and exemplary Armenian. To implement his professional ideas and goals, “Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical Foundation was established. Its main mission is the development of clinical pharmacy in the Republic of Armenia.

The goals of the foundation are:

• Organizing local and international events to develop clinical pharmacy
• Staffing of clinical pharmacists
• Funding and training of students studying clinical pharmacy
• Adaptation of clinical pharmacy as a separate field of science
