4 months agoSeven State Ensembles of Artsakh, which have decades of historical legacies, along with three autonomous groups, are on the verge of collapse. Presently, over 200 dedicated workers in Artsakh's cultural sector are facing unemployment.
The valuable cultural treasures built up over time are in danger of disappearing as the ensembles lack the resources to continue their work and preserve these artifacts. Interruptions in preserving our cultural heritage, a crucial aspect of our legacy, are happening soon. Rising unemployment may force many to leave their homeland, making it difficult to maintain Artsakh's rich cultural traditions.
The 'Save for Tomorrow' campaign, launched by the NGO “Artsakh Culture Center” aims to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of Artsakh, upheld by our longstanding cultural collectives. Funds raised will support preservation, dissemination, and promotion efforts for Artsakh culture. Through this initiative, we aim to provide employment opportunities for 214 displaced cultural workers from Artsakh and indirectly benefit 500 individuals in the field.
● Bring together forcibly displaced individuals from Artsakh through cultural gatherings.
● Maintain strong community bonds and preserve the rich culture cultivated over the years in occupied regions.
● Support events that promote and celebrate Artsakh's unique culture.
Founded on November 23, 2023, our organization is dedicated to preserving the state-recognized cultural institutions in Artsakh, which have endured through challenging historical periods. Help us raise funds to ensure their continued activities and preservation.

We Are Our Mountains State song-dance Ensemble
Artsakh's rich traditions and customs are upheld through our poetry and music, passed down through generations (aya-apaner/Artsakhian dialect/). 'Ayas of Artsakh' ensemble aspires to continue their mission in Armenia and needs our support.
The talented students of the vocal studio at Stepanakert Children and Youth Creative Center are eager to continue singing about Artsakh. Let's each lend a hand in making their dreams a reality.
The members of the 'Wellance' vocal group are passionate about singing in the melodious dialect of Artsakh. Let's support them in their endeavor to keep our cultural heritage alive through music.
Let's come together and save for tomorrow!
By safeguarding Artsakh's state ensembles and ensuring conducive environments for their operations, we can protect our intangible cultural heritage. This initiative will facilitate the presentation, coordination, and transmission of our cultural legacy to future generations. It's essential to recognize that our cultural heritage is at risk of deterioration if it becomes disconnected from our cultural values.

Highlighting the significance of maintaining the ongoing legacy of Artsakh's cultural heritage
We inherited from our fathers to pass on to our children. The imperative not to leave the course of our history unfinished forces us not to despair of difficulties, to collect the remaining memories from Artsakh piece by piece, keep them carefully and pass them on to the new generation. Yes, it is difficult, sometimes it seems impossible. But it must be done and we must do it together. Together we can save. Save for tomorrow.
