2 years agoThere are over 260 schoolchildren in Apaga village, which has a population of over 2000 inhabitants.
Despite being situated only 25 km from Yerevan, Apaga village is disconnected from the technological world, depriving its residents of the opportunity to receive a quality education. Children in this village lack the chance to develop holistically, receive a well-rounded education, and acquire technological skills in line with contemporary requirements. The absence of suitable workshops has diminished students' interest in science subjects, as well as their willingness to address local issues.
Over 100 students in Apaga aspire to receive technological education. The village's youth are keen on using their knowledge and skills to address community challenges. Eleven-year-old David is a prime example, demonstrating a strong interest in programming and robotics. For him and others like him, the "Armath" engineering laboratory provides a pathway to high-quality technological education.
Since 2011, the "Armath" engineering laboratory has operated in Armenia, aiming to make engineering education accessible and strengthen the teaching of science subjects in schools.
Currently, 630+ schools in Armenia, including 1400+ nationwide, feature "Armath" labs, with over 17,500 students and 560 coaches actively engaged.
In “Armath” Engineering Laboratories, children aged 10-18 are introduced to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education through interactive after-school classes, exciting competitions, innovative camps, and more.
In the "Armath" engineering labs, students will gain expertise in:

The children of Apaga eagerly await modern technological education through "Armath" to build the future of their dreams. They have created a video in anticipation of "Armath."

At the Armath engineering workshop in Apaga village, students have already achieved remarkable results just months after its launch. They've created their first games and animation, learned the basics of coding։
Now, with growing enthusiasm, they are mastering 3D modeling and preparing to build their own projects—starting with their first robot.
Thank you for your support, which has made these successes possible.
Thanks to your incredible support, the new Armath makerspace is now fully set up and buzzing with activity! Children have already started attending, diving into hands-on learning, and exploring their creativity in this dynamic space.
We are delighted to announce that we have already purchased:
• Equipment for atelier
• Robot collection
• Printer
• All other technical equipment
Also we have installed all equipment. The project has been represented to students, the training program for the coach is in process.
Stay tuned!!!
Congratulations! The necessary funds have been raised!
Thanks to all our donors.
Dear supporters,
