a day agoOur campaign aims to develop the production of high-quality hydroponic fodder and crops in Syunik, creating an agronomic community, sustainable income and jobs.
With your support, we are establishing an innovative agrohub - an agronomic center, which will become the core of the region's agricultural transformation.
Learn more about AgroSyunik's activities on the following platforms:
During the first 6 months, it is planned to expand production capacities, ensure year-round hydroponic feed supply and create at least 4 jobs.
Within one to two years, AgroSyunik will operate as a regional Agrohub, organizing educational courses for young people and farmers, promoting innovative methods of efficient agriculture.
The project has already been awarded the Social Impact Award, receiving 1,500 euros in funding, which confirms its viability and social impact.
Syunik agriculture continues to rely on traditional, climate-sensitive methods. Water scarcity, productivity instability, and youth migration pose serious challenges for the region.
At the same time, livestock farming often lacks high-quality, nutritious, and year-round available forage.
These problems require technological and systemic solutions, today.
In this video, the project manager talks about the main problem and solution of the project.
«AgroSyunik is implementing energy-efficient hydroponic systems that ensure the production of nutritious hydroponic fodder and microgreens throughout the year.
Implementation stages:
• System acquisition and improvement of the production area
• Scaling of the hydroponic fodder system
• Development of a sales network and contractual cooperation with farmers
• Formation of an Agrohub as an educational and consulting center
Our solution reduces water use by up to 90%, increases productivity and provides predictable income.
There is a serious lack of innovative agricultural knowledge in Syunik, especially in the field of hydroponic technologies and efficient fodder production.
AgroSyunik aims to fill this gap by launching intensive, applied trainings based on a preliminary assessment of the needs of the beneficiaries.
We already have experience in advisory services and are forming a training network that will operate within the framework of the agrohub, including practical courses, demonstration days and experience exchange events. The team was trained in Hungary within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps initiative, studying innovative Hungarian experience, which is now being localized in Syunik.
This component ensures the formation of a knowledge-based and sustainable agrosystem.
The project is led by Ani Yuzbashyan, a social entrepreneur, Social Impact Award winner, active participant in regional development initiatives, and Young European Ambassador.
More details about her activities:

Question: How does hydroponic fodder differ from traditional fodder?
Answer: It is more nutritious, produced in 7–10 days, and is not dependent on the weather.
Question: What is the long-term goal of the project?
Answer: To create an innovative agro-hub in Syunik, an agronomic center that will serve as a regional development platform.
Join us and invest in a sustainable agricultural future for Syunik.
