3 years agoThe project “Nor Ej” (New Page) is a social responsibility program initiated by the “Armenian Human Resources Association”, which was designed and implemented starting from January 2021, immediately after the end of hostilities. The aim of the project is to help the participants of the 44-day war revise and develop their competencies, acquire specific knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to enter the labour market and, as a result, return to a full-fledged working life.
During the first three months, the Association conducted a survey among 250 employers in Armenia according to the developed program, attracted more than 200 trainers from various fields and performed an in-depth survey of more than 1,700 young people – the participants of the military acts. As a result, an objective and clear picture of the labor market in Armenia was formed, both the demand for certain professions and possible job offers were identified. The project currently holds the largest database in the country.
Further, free courses and consultations on professional orientation were held with the veterans of the war, and more than 60 training courses in various specialties and competencies were designed and implemented. We do not provide material assistance, rather we help develop and acquire a profession based on the willingness of the young people and the needs of the labour market.
Currently, the number of registered participants tends to 2,000 people. About 600 of the participants have passed various courses and programs, 35 got a job, and about 200 have already registered for various trainings.
The project has proved to be highly successful and has won the public's trust through its tangible results. The analysis of the reviews illustrated that the project had a positive impact on the livelihood and perception of the majority of the participants. These tangible results motivate us to continue the project and scale it up.
Thus, from October 2021, the project has entered its second phase, and the collection of donations for the project has been initiated on the ReArmenia platform.
We plan to attract more young people who need a detailed and professional approach, help them find themselves in the labour market and, thereby, overcome the post-traumatic stress disorder.

The "New Page" project initiated by the Armenian HR Association NGO has succeeded. Thanks to the donations made on the reArmenia platform, some of our beneficiaries will have the opportunity to attend various educational programs. And, of course, this is a big help for our young people and a great contribution to our country’s future.
