SHORT DESCRIPTION

Hundreds of women living in Armenia’s regions have dreams—to learn, to grow, to work—but lack the opportunity.

This campaign is their silent voice. Together, we can turn silence into hope, education, and real results.

IMPACT

In the first 3–6 months alone, the campaign aims to form a group of at least 20 women from the regions who will overcome key barriers to tech education: financial hardship, lack of access, and low self-confidence.

With long-term implementation over a year, the program will support women’s integration into the job market as a new generation of digital professionals.

This will:

  • Increase family income
  • Stimulate local economic development
  • Reduce the gender gap in tech across Armenia’s regions

PROBLEM

For thousands of women living outside Yerevan, educational and career opportunities remain out of reach.

Limited access to digital learning, financial constraints, and social or interpersonal barriers keep them from pursuing professional growth and improving their families’ well-being.

This issue is especially urgent now:

  • The world is rapidly digitizing, and they are being left behind
  • Demand for tech specialists is growing
  • Most public and private programs are still centered in Yerevan, leaving the regions overlooked

If we don’t act now, these women will continue to be excluded from growth, and Armenia will lose tremendous potential—female entrepreneurship, job creation, and regional revitalization.

Now is the time to give them the most powerful tool—education—and change not just lives, but communities.

THE SOLUTION

We plan to launch a digital education program specifically designed for women in Armenia’s regions. This solution stands out for its accessibility, tailored content, and robust support system.

Implementation stages:

  1. Data collection and beneficiary selection
  2. Launch of educational program
  3. Ongoing mentorship and career support
  4. Assistance with job placement

Methods:

  • Customized training with hands-on examples
  • Confidence-building sessions and peer meetings

Resources needed:

  • Creation of learning materials and an online platform
  • Paid instructors and mentors
  • Devices, internet access, and necessary apps
  • Outreach campaign to reach and engage women in the regions

Why this works:

  • Tackles the root causes: education, access, financial hardship
  • Focuses not just on knowledge, but on outcomes—employment and income
  • Scalable model, ready to be adapted for other vulnerable groups

Support this initiative—and see your contribution translate into real, measurable results.
