a year agoOn September 27, the Armenian Code Academy within its capacities, decided to provide 50 scholarships for displaced students from Artsakh. Within a few days, more than 150 Artsakh students have already expressed their desire to participate, and that number is growing exponentially and reaching around 300 at the moment.
Believing in the idea that forcibly displaced people of Artsakh should have access to the best education that will help them find a job in the field, regardless of their geographic location, and help create a prosperous future for them, Armenian Code Academy and Technological Education Foundation wants to turn those 50 scholarships into 500, but due to the limited resources, we make this appeal, a request.
We are calling on Tech company owners, leaders, senior professionals and all individuals who value education to join us in expanding the scholarship fund.

The "Technological Education: United for Artsakh" campaign will last for at least one year and will involve around 200 students, providing them with up-to-date technological education and help in finding jobs.
Students will have the opportunity to receive industry-oriented and leading education at the Armenian Code Academy in the following directions:
Technological Education Foundation is engaged in providing educational opportunities to vulnerable groups. From the beginning of 2023, the foundation was able to secure scholarships for about 200 young people living in the regions of Armenia. Since August 2023, the foundation has been a partner of the Impact Aim program of the United Nations Development Fund.

Due to Azerbaijani aggression, more than 100,000 Armenians were forcibly displaced from Artsakh, leaving everything behind: their jobs, belongings, education and life. Students from Artsakh need a high-quality accessible education to ensure a long-term impact on the quality of life.
Education which does not know geographic location nor nationality and which is up-to-date. The problem statement is simple: The right of education should be restored. Citizens of Artsakh should have the right to get the education they want. The education that will change their lives and provide hope for a better tomorrow.
By our estimates, the number of applicants from Artsakh will reach 500 within weeks from now. Thus, this initiative aims to provide 200 more scholarships to those in need and contribute to their financial stability and prosperous future.
The students will apply, get selected and start their journey in Tech. First of all they would start with an Introductory level course with a duration of 3-4 months and continue with advanced level, with a duration of 3-6 months. In total, the initiative will last for one year and cover more than 500 individuals. After graduating from the advanced level, we will help the students with job placements and career advancements.
The applicants will be free to choose the course and its methodology (online, in-person, and hybrid) while we will update the donors on the progress of the students. Thus, making the whole procedure transparent for the contributors.
