Hello! I'm Seda.

I was recently admitted to one of the world's top universities—Columbia University in New York—to pursue a master's degree at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). This is the greatest achievement of my life, and getting into this university required overcoming intense competition—only 4% of applicants receive an acceptance letter from this institution.

I have overcome many challenges to reach this point. I have earned an exceptional opportunity to study at one of the best universities in the world. To take this crucial academic and professional step, I need your support.

My experiences and the path I have taken have instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to build a better future for Armenia.

Through my work and public engagement, I have always strived to make a meaningful impact. A few years ago, I co-founded a nonprofit organization aimed at addressing community issues. Thanks to our dedication, we successfully implemented several major projects through grant programs and fundraising efforts. To this day, I look back with pride and joy on the moments when we were able to build a bus stop in my village and a playground in one of the neighborhoods of Vagharshapat.

I have participated in many international programs, including the prestigious Global UGRAD program. Through this program, I had the opportunity to study in the United States for one semester. This experience, which provided me with invaluable knowledge and international connections, also gave me the chance to represent Armenia and Armenian culture abroad at various events.

At SIPA, I will specialize in security studies and diplomacy—fields that are crucial for Armenia today. Now more than ever, Armenia needs highly skilled professionals in international relations and diplomacy who are ready to advance our national interests on the global stage. My primary goal is to receive a world-class education that will strengthen my knowledge and skills, enabling me to become a top-tier expert dedicated to representing Armenia’s interests internationally.

However, financing my education on my own is simply not feasible. The tuition for one year is $80,059. Although my program lasts for two years, my immediate priority is securing funding for the first year. For the second year, I plan to cover my expenses through on-campus work and scholarships.

I strongly believe that financial barriers should not hinder educational opportunities. Money should never stand in the way of pursuing great ambitions. I trust that you share these values and will support my educational journey. Any contribution, regardless of size, will make a significant impact on my future.
