2 months ago16-year-old Mushegh Barseghyan has received a 70% scholarship to study at YOUNITED International School in Israel. This fundraising campaign aims to cover the remaining 30% of his tuition fee, travel costs, and necessary educational materials—bringing him one step closer to his dream of becoming an innovative engineer.
Any contribution, big or small, will help change the life of a young person by opening the doors to a world of opportunity.
From 2025 to 2027, Mushegh will study under the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, receiving a world-class education that will open doors to leading engineering universities such as MIT, CalTech, TUM, Georgia Tech, and others.
For years, Mushegh has excelled in physics, math, and engineering, and has actively participated in international educational and environmental initiatives—demonstrating both the potential and commitment needed to succeed.
Despite the generous scholarship, Mushegh and his family are facing financial challenges in covering the remaining costs. The outstanding tuition alone amounts to approximately 7 million AMD (~$17,200)—a significant burden that threatens his educational future.
Time is running out, as the academic year begins in fall 2025. Without support, Mushegh risks losing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity he earned through years of hard work.
This campaign aims to raise 6,982,550 AMD (~$17,200) to cover:
📌 Phased Implementation
These steps will allow Mushegh to arrive on time, integrate smoothly into the school environment, and focus entirely on his education.
Hello! I’m Mushegh Barseghyan, 16 years old, from Yerevan, Armenia. This year I was accepted into YOUNITED International School at Givat Haviva, Israel, with a 70% scholarship. I am now launching this fundraiser to help cover the remaining 30% and make this incredible opportunity a reality.
Since childhood, I’ve loved creating and exploring—starting with simple wood and metal crafts, and growing into 3D modeling, robotics, and engineering. In recent years, I’ve deepened my knowledge in physics and math while also exploring history, environmentalism, and international relations.
I’ve participated in Model UN conferences (as a delegate at DILIMUN 2023 & 2024, held at UWC Dilijan), and the LCOY Armenia Youth Climate Summit. I’ve also studied in Startup Academy and Catalyst Academy, sharpening my innovation and problem-solving skills.
The IB program at Givat Haviva will give me access to knowledge and an environment I could never find in Armenia. It’s my launchpad to world-class universities—and ultimately, to becoming an engineer who builds real solutions for real people.
This campaign is about more than just tuition—it’s about making the most of a unique opportunity that could define my future. Every contribution, big or small, brings me one step closer.
📍 Phase 1 – Initial Payments ($1,950)
📍 Phase 2 – First Year Tuition ($6,750)
📍 Phase 3 – Second Year Tuition & Insurance ($8,500)
Q: How can I be sure the funds will be used properly?
A: Mushegh will provide all payment receipts and official documentation from the school.
Q: Can I support with a small amount?
A: Absolutely! Even 1,000 AMD (about $2.50) brings Mushegh closer to his dream.
