The “GitTun” center continues its mission of equipping the children of Kapan with technological skills and creating new opportunities for them. With your support, we will establish a specialized robotics workshop where future engineers and inventors will craft their success stories.
1. Short-term Impact (6-12 months):
• A modern, specialized robotics workshop equipped with the necessary tools will be established in Kapan.
• More than 30 children and young people will have the opportunity to participate in comprehensive robotics courses.
•Specialists and trainers from Kapan will have access to retraining programs, enhancing the quality of education.
2. Medium-term Impact (1-3 years):
• Beneficiaries will have the opportunity to participate in national and international competitions, improving their skills and gaining valuable experience.
•Kapan will become a regional center for technological education, attracting youth from neighboring communities.
•The program will foster technological innovation among the younger generation.
3. Long-term Impact (3-5 years and beyond):
•The workshop will serve as a foundation for training a new generation of engineers and technology specialists.
•A technological education environment will develop in Kapan, contributing to the socio-economic growth of the community.
•The successful model of this program can be replicated in other regions of Armenia, creating a unified network of technological education.
This initiative will empower Kapan’s children and youth to keep pace with the demands of the times, shaping the technological future of Syunik.
In a world where modern life is increasingly moving towards automation — from daily life to security — the use of robots is becoming ever more inevitable. To ensure that we have competitive robotics specialists in the future, it is important to introduce children to the vast possibilities of this field from an early age.
Project Implementation Stages:
1. Preparatory Stage (1-2 months):
•Team formation and project planning.
•Procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
2. Work Stage (3-6 months):
•Renovation of the space and installation of equipment.
•Teacher retraining and development of course curricula.
3. Implementation Stage (6-12 months):
•Launch of robotics workshops and engagement of children.
•Collaboration with communities and participation in international competitions.
Methods:
•Based on existing experience, effective educational models such as project-based learning and teamwork will be applied.
•Regular seminars, courses, and open days will be organized to spark interest in science and technology within the community.
Required Resources:
•Financial Resources: For renovating the space and purchasing equipment.
•Technological Equipment: Robotics kits, programming tools.
•Human Resources: Technology specialists, trained teachers, and methodologists.
Effectiveness:
The proposed solution is effective for several reasons:
•It is based on the existing experience of the robotics club, which has demonstrated success on an international level.
•The new specialized workshop will provide higher-quality education and engage a greater number of children.
•To ensure the program’s sustainability, a system of collaboration and continuous development is being implemented, contributing to long-term impact.
Arpine Hovhannisyan – Founder of “GitTun,” mentor and trainer.
Harutyun Danielyan – Robotics instructor, radiophysicist.
