a month agoTigran Avetisyan’s “Ser-Mer” album will consist of 10 tracks. If we were to describe its musical direction in just two words, we could say it blends classical and progressive rock. At the same time, the songs will also feature elements of jazz, bard-style sound with classical guitar, and more.
The uniqueness of the album lies in its conceptual nature: the songs feel like continuations of one another, telling the story of an entire nation with all its ups and downs. And now, in these difficult times for our country, it feels like the right moment for the “Ser-Mer” album to be born and brought to life.
In recent years, as our country has experienced numerous losses and tragedies, Tigran has undergone a near 180-degree shift in his musical style and preferences. He moved from creating in English to composing in Armenian—writing songs about identity, songs that help listeners hold on more strongly to their roots, resist emigration, and understand that everything ultimately depends on them.
The “Ser-Mer” album will be released on YouTube and other music platforms. It will be presented on the day of its official launch, accompanied by several music videos inspired by the themes of the songs.
Through this album, many listeners will be encouraged to reflect, to look back, to remember who they are, where they come from, and where they are going. They will better understand the importance of each individual in the life of their country.
At this stage, 4 out of the 10 songs have already been recorded. With the support of the campaign, 6 more songs will be produced, and the album will be completed in the coming months.
Through these songs, today’s Armenian audience will first of all discover a new artist and also gain a different perspective on their country and their role within it. They will begin to value their personal contribution more deeply, as well as the sacrifice of soldiers who gave their lives in recent years.
The songs reflect today’s Armenian reality—they are about finding strength within ourselves and being reborn. The album carries a message of encouragement and empowerment, standing against emigration and division. One of the songs is dedicated to the Armenian Genocide, calling for remembrance and the importance of not forgetting the past.

In 2024, his album “Wrong Country” was released, followed by “Haskenin” in 2025. These are Armenian-language, authorial conceptual albums centered on national ideology, drawing lessons from our losses and achievements, and reflecting on the tragedies our nation has faced in recent years.
