SHORT SUMMARY

The purpose of the K. It is to renovate a sports and cultural center in the Kanaker district of Yerevan. The professional K1 federation has been working in Kanaker for 6 years, renting premises at its own expense.

During these years the problem of creating a specialized sports and cultural center has arisen. Kanaker children and youths have never had such a center, so the management of the K1 Federation wants to create a sports and cultural center with the following groups:

• K1 (Japanese Kickboxing)
• MMA
• Dance
• Song-music

The campaign is very important for the sports and cultural development of children of schools and colleges in the area. The K1 center will be taught exclusively by highly educated and licensed professionals and the emphasis will be on patriotic culture. education.

IMPACT

The project is already underway, as mentioned above, it has been in existence for 6 years, but as suggested by the beneficiaries it needs to be expanded into a sports and cultural center.

In 6 years the K1 Federation has organized 34 international and national tournaments and participated in 15 international championships outside the country. The basis of the tournaments has always been military-patriotic education, a vivid proof of which is the annual memorial tournament dedicated to the 44-day Artsakh war.

PROBLEM

The K1 Federation is no longer able to implement the project with its own funds, as the premises that have been rented should be handed over to the owner, rather than occupying the basement premises that are in a dilapidated state and require major repairs, so this project was created so that the public could also participate in the implementation of the project.

The problem is urgent because the leased premises should be vacated in a short period of time (by March 1), and the beneficiaries of the project or persons related to the sphere (coaches, athletes and their parents) will be left without suitable premises (gym).

SOLUTION

To solve the problem it is necessary to take an almost identical sized plot - an existing basement - in the same area, renovate it, furnish it and put it into use.

The stages of implementation are as follows:

•    find an appropriate area (realized)
•    carry out dismantling work (done)
•    carry out appropriate modification works (in progress)
•    carry out renovation works (not yet started)
•    carry out finishing works (not yet started)

The project is being implemented according to the planned methods. The project is being implemented with small own funds and government assistance is expected.

Our team started construction works on January 10 and carried out demolition inside the territory, changed sewage and water pipes running through the planned territory. Opened vents needed to ventilate the area. All of this was done with the team's own funds.
