This October, we — a team of passionate young engineers from Armenia — will compete in the FIRST Global Challenge, the “Olympic Games” of robotics. Over 190 countries will gather in Panama City to solve real-world challenges using science, engineering, and teamwork.

We’re ready to build, program, and innovate — but to step onto that global stage, we need you by our side.

With your support:

  • We will represent Armenia in one of the largest STEM events in the world.
  • We will gain world-class skills in robotics, programming, and problem-solving.
  • We will bring our knowledge home to inspire and peer-mentor other innovators in Armenia.

This isn’t just about winning medals — it’s about proving that Armenian creativity and talent can shine as brightly as any nation’s.

The Challenge

We know what it feels like to dream big but face limits. In sports, athletes train for years for their Olympic moment — for us, this competition is our Olympic moment.

The FIRST Global Challenge 2025 will gather the best young minds on the planet. We have the skills, the dedication, and the drive — but without funding, we can’t get to Panama.

2025 Challenge theme: Eco Equilibrium

This year we are working to make a robot that address the theme of Eco Equilibrium — focusing on sustainability and ecological balance. The competition tasks challenge teams to create innovative robotic solutions that promote environmental stewardship on a global scale. You can watch the official introduction video here.

We will:

  • Design and build a competition-ready robot using an official robotics kit tailored to solve global sustainability and ecological balance challenges
  • Program and code the robot to perform autonomous and remote-controlled tasks that require precision, speed, and strategy
  • Test and iterate our robot’s performance through rigorous practice matches, refining every component for peak efficiency
  • Collaborate and compete with teams from over 190 countries, sharing knowledge and learning new approaches to STEM problems
  • Represent Armenia with pride and aim to bring home the golden medal, proving that Armenian youth can innovate, excel, and lead on the world stage.

You can explore Armenia’s previous participation and achievements in the FIRST Global Challenge here.

Meet 2025 Team
