a month agoWe are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your support, we won the Rookie All-Star Award and ranked the 4th place out of 53 teams at the Ventura County Regional, securing our spot in the FIRST Championship!
Our journey at the regional was incredible—we exchanged knowledge with students worldwide, learned from top teams, and refined our skills. Check the Updates section to see what we gained and contributed!
Now, we are preparing for the FIRST Championship, where we’ll compete against 600 teams globally. Our goal is to win at the Championship and bring home the Championship "Rookie All-Star" award. In the meantime, we are showcasing Armenia on the world stage, achieving our larger mission—getting more students involved in STEM and robotics.
We’re halfway there, but we need your support to take the next step. Additional funding for travel, robot parts, and other expenses will help us proudly represent Armenia internationally.
Join us—help bring Armenian innovation to the world and empower future generations! 🚀
You can familiarize yourself with the past experience reading below.
Over half of Armenia’s youth attend STEM labs, gaining valuable skills. While 30+ major international STEM and robotics competitions are held annually, Armenian students face limited opportunities and resources to participate and showcase their products and skills globally. This restricts our global exposure and ability to engage with international advancements. We aspire to compete, advance, and win, but without access to these opportunities, our skills and potential remain untapped.
As a solution, to boost Armenia’s presence in international STEM competitions and to showcase the capacity of Armenian students, we’ve formed Armathronics, a team of 19 members, including 15 Armath students, 3 mentors, ready for the challenge. We set a goal of winning one of the rookie awards: the Rookie All-Star Award, Rookie Inspiration Award or Rookie Team Spirit Award.
Our mentors, along with support from our Armenian-American peers and an experienced mentor from America, provide guidance, technical advice, and financial backing. This initiative paves the way for Armenia’s future in the FIRST Robotics Competition, opening doors for the next generation of Armenian students to shine globally.
Armenia takes a bold step into the future of technology and innovation by participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition. This campaign is not just about a competition; it’s about empowering the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators to shape the future.
The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a global event where high school teams compete with their robots in challenging matches, combining the excitement of sports with science and technology. FRC offers valuable prospects for students, making it a worthwhile experience for Armenia to join.
Out of 17,000 Armath students, we are the 15 selected with deep knowledge of programming and robotics, chosen to be the first to take on the challenge of participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Both our fellow students and future teams will benefit from the experience we pass on, strengthening Armenia’s presence in international competitions.
We have divided our team into several groups with specific responsibilities.

ALGORITHM OF THE FUTURE
In Armath Engineering Makerspaces, children aged 10-18 are introduced to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through interactive after-school classes, exciting competitions, innovative camps and more.
Program implementation & development of the methodology is driven by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE).
Mission
Empower the younger generation with the skills and mindset needed for the future economy by encouraging and unlocking engineering talent and creativity.
Dear Donors,
We are so happy to return with some exciting news from the Armathronics team’s incredible journey to the United States—made entirely possible thanks to your generous support!
Let’s take you through the experience step by step.
The main competition unfolded over two intense days.
On the first day, we competed in 6 matches—and won in 5 of them! For most of the day, we held the #1 ranking out of 53 international teams, which filled us with pride and motivation. It was truly inspiring to see that a robot built with limited resources could hold its own—and even lead—among high-performing teams with far greater resources.
*Our robot number is 10698.
On the second and final day of the qualifiers, we played 3 additional matches and won all of them, ultimately securing 4th place in the overall rankings. We made it to the quarterfinals during the playoff stage and closed the day with a strong score.
Beyond the matches, the judges also presented awards based on specific criteria such as innovation (unique engineering solution), impact, teamwork, overcoming challenges, and more. Among the most prestigious awards is the Rookie All-Star Award—and we are proud to announce that We Won It! This recognition, along with our high ranking, earned us something truly incredible:
We have officially qualified for the FINALS!
The emotions we felt—knowing we were representing Armenia on an international stage, and doing so with such success—are beyond words. We are proud, grateful, and more determined than ever to keep pushing boundaries.
Thank you for believing in us and being a part of this journey. We carry your support with us into the next chapter—THE FINALS!

We visited High-tech high school in Los Angeles, where the majority of the students are Armenian. We took a tour of the school and learnt about the US educational system. Afterwards, we worked on our robot, as we have just 2 days left before the competition begins.
Huge thank you to the UATE board!
Endlessly grateful to all our supporters on this journey!
Excited to make our mark on the global stage!
