Mobile Application by a 16-year-old boy from Vardenis 😲
💁♂️ Meet Ashot Zaqoyan from the Gegharkunik region. Although he has been with MEM for just one year, he has already become an active volunteer in various teams, and is now the coordinator of MEM’s IT department.
Ashot fulfills all the “dreams” of the MEM team by automating numerous mechanical tasks and enhancing work efficiency. ✨️
Recently, he began working on designing his own mobile application, "On The Road," which became the winning project of the Awesome Foundation Yerevan grant. 🏆 The app aims to uncover the hidden gems of Gegharkunik and other regions of Armenia, using artificial intelligence to suggest locations based on user preferences.
There are many enthusiasts like Ashot in the regions, who just need the opportunity to grow and develop. 💚
✅️ You too can contribute to their development by subscribing monthly and sponsoring one child from a region.
📣 To all of our sponsors who joined us in May, please check your emails!

🚀 Making an Impact in Hometown
We begin by sharing successful examples of commitment that demonstrate positive progress.
Hrachya Stepanyan is one of our earliest and most dedicated contributors. Working in the UAE, he chose a child from the vicinity of his hometown, Kajaran, and committed to their development. Hrachya also actively mentors Emmy from Syunik, assisting in the coordination of the "MEM-Syunik" regional team.
"Hrachya's mentorship gives me immense strength to move forward. He not only helps me with work processes but also plays a crucial and invaluable role in my personal growth," says Emmy. 🫂
✅ You too can commit to the development of a child in your preferred region and, by empowering them, make an impact on your hometown through their invaluable capabilities.
Following MEM’s example, the children of different regions are building new communities!
👋 Get to know Aram Aghekyan from Gegharkunik region. Aram has been a member of MEM for 3 years now, and he is the co-founder of MEM's Digital Generation program.
🎯 Aram, motivated by the impactful connections and collaborations of the MEM community, decided to establish the Nerkin Getashen Network Unity, with the goal to unite the local population to jointly solve community problems.
Currently, the largest project of this unity is a fundraiser aimed at supporting a fellow villager with his medical bills. So far, the fundraiser has reached 13 million Armenian Drams, and counting. 😮 Also in this case, Aram received the vast support of the MEM community and network.
You can change the lives of many young people like Aram and through them, have a wider impact on the lives of their communities. Choose to commit today and help us in our mission to develop leaders for the balanced development of our homeland. 💚
By donating 8,000 AMD per month on the reArmenia platform, you can sponsor any of our children from the different regions of Armenia, get to know them, and receive detailed reports on their progress.
📣 To all of our sponsors who joined us in April, please check your email!
📈 As we had promised, after 2 months (and every 2 months from now on), the report on the children sponsored by the first group of sponsors, including their progress and involvement in various activities, is now available.
Soon, we will also organize face-to-face meetings in order to establish ties and get acquainted with each other. 🤩

🥳 25 children from different regions of Armenia now have sponsors!
More than 20 like-minded individuals, who wish to bring positive change to children's lives, have chosen to sponsor the children that they have been linked to, granting them the invaluable opportunity to be part of a community that fosters change-makers.
The sponsors have themselves chosen the children that they want to support, based on a variety of factors. For instance, some have chosen to sponsor children from their birthplace or favorite region, others based on their school or future profession. 🤩
📈 Soon, the first group of sponsors will receive measurable and transparent reports regarding the progress and development of the children they are sponsoring. It's also in our plan to organize face-to-face meetings between the sponsors and the children.
You too can have the opportunity to sponsor a child by donating the monthly amount of 8,000 AMD through the reArmenia platform and join us in developing leaders devoted to their motherland.
👉 From course participant to project implementer
Anush, a member of MEM, is a participant of the 2-month course "Project Management", coordinates the SkillUnity freelance program and the Meknark.am platform.
"Before participating in the course, I didn't have deep knowledge of this field, although I felt its needin my work" said the 17-year-old lady.
The course included practical assignments and a competition, where Anush was recognized as the winner. Lecturer Linda Haddad added that the ոkey to her success were discipline and consistency. 🤩
📚 Anush plans to apply what she has learned to the improvement and promotion of the Meknark.am platform. The latter is revolutionizing the culture of charity.
You can ensure quality education for Anush and many other young people. Take responsibility, change lives, and help build leaders for the country's balanced development. 💚
You can become a sponsor for any child by donating 8,000 AMD per month on the reArmenia platform, receive reports on their progress and, of course, meet them.
📍 The last and unchanged stop is home.
Liana Hakobyan hails from the village of Karakert in the Armavir region. During the 3 years of volunteering at MEM, she managed the HR Department and Entertainment team.
Even though she’s a student living away from the village, Liana's goals as a MEM member are deeply tied to Karakert's development.
A long-held dream of establishing an "Armat" engineering lab in the village became a mission. Leveraging her connections and skills gained through MEM, Liana joined the local school team and committed to the successful completion of a 6 million AMD fundraiser. Now children aged 10-18 from both Karakert and neighboring villages h can access technological education for free.
"Instead of empty words, I want to show by action and my example that we can make positive changes in our society and homeland," adds the patriotic leader.
You can make a difference for Liana and many other young people. Take a commitment and help create future leaders for the balanced development of the country. 💚
You can become a #commissioner of any child by donating 8,000 AMD per month on the reArmenia platform. Most importantly, receive a measurable and transparent report on his progress.
📢 From a schoolchild in a remote village to teaching Armenians in the US.
16-year-old Leili Khachatryan is from Meghvahovit, village of Lori. Having volunteered at MEM for 3 years, she was involved in several projects, and now she is the coordinator of MEM's Educational Department.
Although there is no school in her native village and she needs to attend a school in the neighbouring village for education, the stubborn and inflexible girl does not give up on difficulties. "Sometimes we had to walk 7 kilometres, but the obstacles are surmountable. the important thing is to go after the goal and not be afraid of dreaming big," she says.
📚 Due to self-education, gaining experience, knowledge, and developing skills, Leyli taught Armenians in the United States digital literacy at the age of 14.
Many young people like Leyli need you. Take responsibility, change lives, and help create leaders for the country's balanced development.
You can become a sponsor of any child by donating 8,000 drams per month on the reArmenia platform, receive reports on her/his progress and, of course, meet her/him. 💚
Our results are not our children, but their results.
👋 Mariam Sahakyan from the Damala village of Javakhk has been volunteering at MEM for 4 years. After many years of involvement in various community activities, she founded "Ari" anticafe in her native village.
The young leader presented herself as a speaker at #DemArDem regional forum and shocked the whole hall with his speech. 💛

MEM is a member of the "VOGEZEN" community
During the concluding conference of the year of the VOGEZEN platform, MEM also gave a speech and presented the activities taking place within the community and security frameworks.
✅️ Within the framework of the project, many MEM members participated in POGA campaigns and ten-day gatherings of VOMA, and won the Davitbek games in 2023.
✅️MEM members also took part in the implementation of the GMBET project.
MEM members, performing various tasks, and accumulating points, can donate them to various projects, 1 MEMcoin is 250 drams. Thus, MEM makes cash transfers for points. The members of MEM collected their accumulated MEMcoins and donated about 100,000 drams to military sports structures.
✅️As a result of community solidarity, about 2,000 tires were brought to the border.
✅️ Many other activities.
✅️Various seminars, courses, and podcasts are organized to spread the concept of comprehensive security.
The second offline workshop of MEM management staff is also a reality.
On November 17-19 at coworking Focus Point Drakhtik was held
a three-day workshop wich important part was:
🔸Presentation of the functions of the MEM departments to each other,
🔸familiarity with educational topics,
🔸raising and discussing problems.
As a result of the meeting, departments developed mechanisms for solving problems, which will improve the quality of management.
The workshops will be periodic in nature.
On the last day of the workshop, the management staff of MEM visited Gagarin village of Gegharkunik region, there was an exchange of experience, during which MEM deputies told about their journey, and the active youth of the village told about their community activities.
📢 An influential story that represents the power of the Network and cooperation...
The Artsakh "Munk" technical school, with the joint efforts of the MEM and leaders, was reopened in Lori.
🔰 The "Munk" technical school operating in the village of Haghorti in Artsakh, which provided IT education to children over 12 years old, faced the danger of stopping its activities, because the latter's staff could be scattered in different places of Armenia after the displacement.
MEM, having learned about the fact that Artsakh residents are provided with accommodation in Tashir city and nearby settlements, contacted "Tashir Group" through mentors, presented the situation and achieved results, solving several problems at the same time.
"Tashir Group" provided comfortable apartments and office space to the entire teaching staff of the school.
🔹️ The displaced families from Artsakh received housing.
🔹️ The staff of the school remained concentrated in the same area, thanks to which the "Munk" technical school was not disbanded...
"Munk" has moved to Lori, Tashir, and will soon have a branch in Vanadzor.
As a beautiful continuation of this story, MEM and Munk will jointly create a network of coworking spaces, spreading throughout the country.
And MEM will continue its way of speaking and acting with results...
Tasks for the youth of regions…
As a result of the cooperation between Meknark.am and MEM, many young people are able to develop their soft and hard skills by performing various tasks, as well as earn symbolic money.
As a result, employers who post the task get the opportunity to focus on more extensive work.
As a result of one year of cooperation, MEM volunteers were given more than 100 tasks.
There were also cases when the volunteer received a job offer after completing the task.
In order to become a donor-employer on Meknark.am, you need to register on the website as an employer, post a task, and MEM volunteers will perform them with the best possible quality.
Website link: https://meknark.am/
On the initiative of MEM NGO, a video call was held between MEM and Armat Glendale.
10 MEM members and more than 20 Glendale Armatians participated in the video call to create new and strong bonds.
During the video call, the common directions between the projects and the children were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, one mentor has already joined MEM and participates in the 6:00 MEM club every morning.
We are confident that this video call will be the beginning of many new collaborations between us and the Diaspora.

It should be noted that the participants are not going to limit themselves to the above results. The already divided teams will continue to solve the problems raised by themselves, the results of which we will talk about very soon.
Strength and will are the key to victory
🏁 From July 24 to 30, the Davitbek Games 2023 annual youth-patriotic competition-festival in Kapan brought together young people from different settlements of Armenia who came to test their strategic and tactical powers, as well as their cultural, historical, and spiritual knowledge. "Computer +" is one of the successful programs of MEM.
The purpose of the program is to equip the active, dedicated and like-minded volunteers of the MEM NGO with the necessary technical devices.
Starting from 2021, 120 of the 159 volunteers who received equipment have already started working. The vast majority of them are in the regions and work remotely...
Let's summarize the #քայլիրորքայլեն contest, in which MEM volunteers also participated, registering the best results.
From June 10 to 15, dozens of teams consisting of 2 participants would compete. the walker and sponsor. The sponsor, equivalent to the number of steps taken by the walker, had to make a donation on the reArmenia platform, to the MetaGait device project, which is a rehabilitation device for our boys with disabilities.
The walkers in 26 teams were MEM volunteers, 3 winners were also members of MEM.
The total revenue of the competition was 3.510.779 AMD.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this competition a huge success.
Thanks to the competition, we were convinced that our collective efforts can bring positive changes in Armenia and the world.
MEM at Renderforest.
On June 1st, the annual Renderforest event was attended by representatives of the MEM NGO. During the event, they presented the MEM, its carried out activities, as well as some of the successful MEM programs.
🔹"Digital Generation"
🔹"Armenian Youtubers",
🔹"Gift a Day"
🔹"Computer +".
Thanks to such effective cooperation and the involvement of like-minded young people in significant events, the members of the MEM were able to gain experience in speaking freely in front of the audience, presenting their programs and their results in the best possible way, making new connections and acquaintances.
And at the end, we received a gift subscription from Renderforest.
Our result is young people who today are able to communicate with similar organizations.
Let's be inspired, learn and develop together.
Today, June 1, MEM turns 4 years old.
During these 4 years, MEM has recorded and continues to record many successes.
MEM started the first phase of the educational program from May 22, within the scope of which we have 46 beneficiaries of the educational program and 12 trainers.
Within the framework of the first stage, the following groups were formed:
The participants participate in the classes with great motivation and share the ideas that the educational program provides.
The educational program wants to create an image of an Armenian who will be a patriot, will be digital, will have soft and hard skills, will be a lawyer, a mature person in the business field, who will be able to use all these resources for the development of the community, region and Armenia.
