8 months agoThe campaign is aimed at supporting Armenian young innovators, the GDL team, the winner of the national tournament of the World Robot Olympiad, to participate in the World Robot Olympiad International. Your support will fulfill the dream of these children to represent Armenia on the international stage, which will be an invaluable experience for their future and will develop the STEM field in Armenia, making its results competitive at the global level.
Thanks to the campaign, Silva, Ellen and Mkrtich will have the opportunity to participate in the World Robot Olympiad, getting acquainted with new technologies and gaining invaluable experience. This project will promote STEM education in Armenia, inspiring thousands of young people to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The project is already having a significant impact, as team members volunteering to pass on their knowledge to young children, creating a community filled with a love of science. The success of the campaign will also provide an opportunity to showcase Armenia's talent and capabilities in the international arena, promoting the country's positive reputation.
In the Shirak region of Armenia, particularly in Gyumri, young talents face significant challenges in accessing development opportunities in the STEM field. This region is the poorest in Armenia, which limits the resources available for educational and extracurricular activities.
Our talented youth team, Silva, Elen and Mkrtich, recently won the National Round of the World Robot Olympiad, showcasing their skills and innovative Smart Sort project. However, they face financial obstacles that prevent them from participating in the Open Championship of the World Robot Olympiad to be held in Italy.
Without the necessary sponsorship, these bright minds will miss a valuable opportunity to represent Armenia on the international stage, gain exposure and further develop their skills. This not only affects their personal growth, but also reduces the potential to inspire other young people in the region to explore STEM fields.
Sponsorship and financial support enables our team of young innovators to participate in the Open Championship of the World Robot Olympiad to be held in Italy and represent Armenia on the international stage. This could be an opportunity for the GDL team to compete and gain international recognition. They will develop their technical, presentation and collaboration skills. It will be a great inspiration for other Armenian youth in Shirak region and beyond, motivation to be involved in STEM fields and participate in similar competitions.
