The "Hay-Em" Dyutsaznatun (House of Heroes) in the Talin community is unique in the Republic of Armenia for its specific mission. It operates under the leadership of multiple Guinness World Record holder and coach-director, Roman Sahradyan. The goal is to train children and youths to become future Guinness World Record holders. "Hay-Em" Dyutsaznatun promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle in Armenia.
In its relatively short period of operation—4 years—Dyutsaznatun has already recorded significant achievements: 21 Guinness World Records and nearly 60 records in the Armenian "Dyutsaznagirq" (Book of Heroes).
On July 4, 2026, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence and at the invitation of the City of Glendale, 9-year-old Narek Glchyan—an athlete from "Hay-Em" Dyutsaznatun and a two-time Guinness World Record holder—will attempt to set his third Guinness record. The athlete is preparing to surpass his previous record by performing 250 hops on one leg on a treadmill moving at a speed of 6.5 km/h within a one-minute timeframe.
Narek will travel to the U.S. accompanied by Roman Sahradyan, who will serve as his coach and is himself a multiple Guinness World Record holder and the director of the "Hay-Em" Dyutsaznatun sports center.
Notably, Narek Glchyan is considered the youngest Armenian in the world to be registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The project is being implemented pursuant to an agreement reached between the Hakobyans Pan-Armenian Center and the City of Glendale, within the framework of the "Gerazancike" (The Achiever) program.
Our mission is to present ourselves to the world and to uncover the hidden talents, athletic potential, and abilities within our children. We must realize this now, at a time when the Armenian nation has overcome the aspirations of the enemy through difficult situations and needs to represent itself to the global community—holding the Tricolor high and upholding the honor and name of the Armenian people.
We plan to solve this challenge through our young hero setting a Guinness World Record—not only in the homeland but also abroad in the presence of our inspired compatriots. Those living far from their native land wish to witness with their own eyes the achievements of the world's youngest Guinness World Record-holding "Dyutsazn" (hero). This is particularly effective as it serves as an example for the Armenian upbringing, multifaceted growth, and harmonious development of children living outside the homeland.
Within the framework of this project, Narek Glchyan will embark on a 14-day tour of Glendale, USA. He will meet with the Mayor of Glendale, senators, and representatives of the Armenian community. These opportunities will also provide Narek Glchyan the chance to visit the White House and, of course, to set his third Guinness World Record in the presence of the aforementioned dignitaries.
