12 days agoThe "Koghb" Digital Studio's Web Programming Course is a unique platform designed to enhance digital skills, empowering young people in the Tavush region to become competitive professionals without leaving their community.
What impact will the project have?
Ten students who successfully complete the three-month course will acquire fundamental knowledge and practical skills in web programming.
With support from the studio, they will take their first steps by creating personal portfolio websites, showcasing their work on freelance platforms, and entering the job market with confidence.
By the end of the course, some graduates may secure jobs in the IT sector or launch their own projects, paving the way for the creation of new studios and initiatives in the region.
Access to quality and affordable web programming education remains a significant challenge in Armenia, particularly in the Tavush region.
The Koghb Foundation’s Digital Studio has a long and successful history teaching UI/UX design. This success, coupled with strong student interest, has fueled a growing demand for web programming education.
Limited access to quality education also hinders the digitalization and competitiveness of local businesses. Additionally, young people often move to the capital for education, which weakens local communities and exacerbates regional development disparities.
Introducing free, high-quality web programming education in Tavush can be a transformative factor for regional development.
The project offers a free, high-quality web programming course in Tavush, covering foundational skills in HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies.
Students gain practical skills and hands-on experience through project-based learning. The Digital Studio complements the training by providing mentoring and career counseling, empowering students to find jobs or launch their own projects.
The initiative fosters the local digital ecosystem and contributes to the region’s sustainable growth by creating new opportunities for young people.
