You are reading the thoughts of the 10-18-year-old children of Karakert.

Karakert village distinguishes itself from other villages in the region with its bustling daily life. Our days are "fruitful" and filled with activities unique to the village. For many years, our school and teachers have guided us as students, encouraging independence and originality. They've instilled in us the importance of identifying and overcoming problems within the community and among the youth, and subsequently providing appropriate solutions.

The Problem

Some of us work as apprentices in three seasons and as harvesters in one, while many others work as apprentices in one season and as harvesters in three. The reasons are not only financial difficulties but also the limitations of formal education and the lack of resources.  

The Solution

With the assistance of "Armath," we can design and develop mechanisms and tools to sort fruits and vegetables, placing them in different boxes based on their size. Additionally, we can create conveyors capable of transporting loads of varying weights. For instance, instead of manually carrying buckets during harvesting, a conveyor could handle the task. These challenges, both small and large, belong to us and our parents, and with our knowledge, we can simplify the process of solving them.

In “Armath” Engineering Laboratories, children aged 10-18 are introduced to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education through interactive after-school classes, exciting competitions, innovative camps, and more.
