On June 1, 1988, Artsakh Television greeted its viewers during its first broadcast.

Years passed, and throughout this time, every broadcast of the Public Television of Artsakh was inspired by our homeland, its sad and triumphant moments, its culture, and its history. It became a bridge between Artsakh, the motherland, and the Diaspora.

From covering the hottest points of the war to public, political, cultural, sports, and entertainment programs, the Public Television of Artsakh echoed in every Artsakh household, spoke of the concerns of its people, shared their joys and sorrows, and became an inseparable part of every family.

Unfortunately, after the tragic events of September 19, 2023, the television broadcast signal fell silent. Still, the voice of the people of Artsakh, living with their beloved Artsakh and its television, did not.

Artsakh Television, the devoted companion of the Artsakh people, continues today, despite numerous difficulties, to raise issues concerning its people, to unite thousands after the forced depopulation, and to fulfill its great mission of preserving national identity and historical heritage.
