Our Mission

“Special Art Center for Children” NCSO provides free artistic education to children with disabilities, children with special conditions of education, children without parents and from other disadvantaged groups. The center helps children to develop their creative potential, build self-confidence, and receive preliminary career orientation in various art fields such as singing, dance, painting, sculpture, dhol, guitar, theatre, and more.

Stepanavan Branch As a Leader

The Stepanavan branch of NCSO is one of the most important regional centers, where more over than 100 children attend a wide range of creative art clubs, including Marash embroidery, wood carving, singing, dhol playing, carpet weaving, drawing, and recitation. The branch actively participates in national and international festivals, organizes masterclasses, integrating best practices from Armenia and abroad, and ensures complete and free creative education.

Our Team

The Stepanavan branch is led by Anush Minas Gharakeshishyan, whose long term experience, professional skills, and creative approach provides the center’s successful activity. The team includes 7 club instructors and 1 social pedagogue, who provide individualized support to the children thus fostering their holistic development.

Heating Needed ❄️

The Stepanavan branch operates in the territory of Social-Educational Center of the Gugark Diocese, with properties provided by the Diocese. However, the center currently doesn’t own sufficient resources for heating the territory. And indeed, the cold winters of Lori region are serious obstacle to maintaining consistent and uninterrupted creative education for children’s development.The budget includes an amount allocated for heating — the gas fee.The total budget of the campaign is 438,000 AMD.

The collected funds will be transparently allocated to heating the building and creating warm conditions for the children.
