About collaboration projects

Collaboration projects require tangible needs (equipment, clothing, computers, etc.) as well as the support of people through their knowledge, experience, and/or connections to solve a specific problem.

Collaboration Needs

Teachers (Programming)

Programmers with knowledge of specified languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, ML, AI․

Expert (Pedagogy)

Since we do not have enough pedagogical experience, we need expert advice on some issues.

Creative part

To make the lessons interesting (games, contests, quizzes).

Partner

We aim to expand the project and go to more schools, therefore we need partners.

Computers

To get more children involved, we also need more computers.

Teachers (Mathematics)

Students who study in mathematically oriented faculties.

Teachers (Curious students)

IT students who are ready to constantly find and develop new materials about IT.

SMM specialist

To ensure activity on social platforms.

Who can participate in the project?

The project is intended for children aged 12-14 who, having no idea about IT, want to do programming in the future.

What opportunities does the project provide?

The project gives children the opportunity to try with their own hands and understand whether their expectations will be justified and whether dreams and wishes will come true in the IT world. It gives an opportunity to understand what problems can be solved by becoming a good programmer.

What do we value?

During the lessons, children are emphasized on the creation of Armenian programs in the field of IT, and it is essential to direct every work towards the development and advancement of Armenia.

Teamwork and willingness to help each other are emphasized throughout the program.

How are the lessons conducted?

The project is implemented in the classrooms of the schools in Yerevan, with the principals' agreement, outside school hours.

Specialists of our team visit the students of the 7th-9th grade of the school and present the project, after which the children, according to their wishes, register and participate in a short interview stage, where the children's mathematical logic is emphasized. The participants who pass the interview stage begin the 2-month programming lessons.

Classes are held 1-2 days a week, lasting 2 hours

During the first hour, our specialists introduce children to the basic knowledge of programming: Scratch, Html/CSS, and Python. These languages are chosen so that children can immediately see the results of their work, easy to do, which will encourage an increase in the desire to learn more

The second hour is devoted to conversations about the IT sphere, presenting the developments in the sphere, interesting cases and events, and an attempt to show how the world is developing and moving forward. An attempt is made to contribute to the development of children's worldviews and intellectual horizons.

The problems of the current world are discussed, connecting them with mathematics and programming, as well as highlighting the need to engage in science and IT in our country.
