IT In Villages


"IT In Villages" NGO conducts free programming courses in the villages of Aragatsotn region. Duration of the course: one year. The project also includes English lessons in an online format two days a week. The program comes into force from May 2022.

"IT In Villages" NGO is convinced that young people can make an invaluable contribution to the development of communities and tends to provide new opportunities to young people, contributing to their development, deepening the knowledge of the IT sector.


The graduates of the 2022-2023 academic year of the "IT In Villages" NGO have already managed to accept an order for a website and get paid for their work.

In the new academic year, graduates have the opportunity to participate in the online format of Olympic programming courses with Physmath School students.

"IT In Villages" NGO believes that it will give the future generations the opportunity to have a good profession, we will have a more conscious society and a safer homeland.

Problem

There are many educational programs in Armenia, but they are mostly concentrated in Yerevan, and the youth of the communities often do not have the opportunity to get involved.

Goal

To give the youth of the communities an opportunity to learn and develop their community.

Solution

To conduct free programming courses for students aged 13-17 in Aragatsotn region.

Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries of the project are 25 young people aged 13-17 from Aragatsotn region (1 academic year).
