Overview

The Family & Community (F&C) NGO is committed to supporting Armenia's most vulnerable children by providing essential winter clothing to keep them warm, healthy, and safe. This project seeks donations of winter attire to ensure that over 550 children across five regions are well-prepared for the cold months ahead.

Your support will have a direct impact on over 550 children by supplying them with winter clothing, reducing risks of cold-related illness, increasing school attendance, and enhancing their overall well-being. Proper winter wear will empower these children to engage fully in educational and social activities, creating a safe and inclusive environment during Armenia’s challenging winter.

Identified Needs

In Armenia, winter temperatures often plummet, and with over 31.7% of children living in poverty, many families cannot afford warm clothing. Children without proper winter attire are more vulnerable to health risks, restricted in mobility, and face the emotional strain of lacking adequate clothing, which affects their self-confidence and limits their participation in daily life.

Proposed Solution

With in-kind donations of new or gently used winter clothing, including coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, and boots, we can stock F&C's five centres to meet these urgent needs. Providing warmth and protection will allow these children to stay healthy, active, and well-supported, enabling them to thrive through Armenia’s winter season.
