Serund Charity Foundation, with the help of its dedicated supporters, has launched a program aimed at increasing the birth rate in Artsakh and Armenia.

The foundation has set a goal to establish a pan-Armenian community that promotes birth, and works to grow the number of people who donate on a monthly basis, placing more emphasis on the number of donors than the funds raised.

The social program is planned to launch in the relatively small border communities in Artsakh. Each family with a newly born child will receive 50,000 AMD per month during 16 years and 8 months.

Charektar and Yegtsahogh villages in Artsakh are the first communities selected for the program 



How does the model of financial support work?

The family receives 50,000 AMD per month for each newly born child during the 16-year period.

To ensure the continuity of monthly payments, a deposit of 600,000 AMD will be allocated for each child, and only after that the families will receive monthly payments.

Thus, after accumulating the deposit amount of 600,000 AMD per child, the Serund Foundation plans to raise 750,000 AMD monthly for 15 newborn children to pay 50,000 drams per month.

The financial support will be paid to families with newborn children who live in the Charektar and Yeghtsahogh villages in Artsakh. 

With increasing donations and donor numbers, the program will be expanded to other communities.
