The queen of our rivers, the brown trout, is silently vanishing due to illegal fishing. Support us to create the first-ever documentary film that will expose this environmental catastrophe and demand immediate action to save Armenia’s natural heritage.

IMPACT

The success of this campaign will allow us to produce and release a 25-35 minute documentary film by December 2025. We aim to reach 10,000+ views within the first three months, raising public awareness among Armenian citizens, especially youth, and the diaspora. The film will serve as an educational tool for schools and educational institutions, instilling environmental values and a sense of responsibility for our nature.

THE PROBLEM

A critical problem in Armenia and for our community is the endangerment of our mountain rivers and their biodiversity. For decades, illegal fishing using nets, longlines, and electroshock has decimated the populations of brown trout and other valuable fish species.

This phenomenon is not just an environmental disaster but also a loss of national heritage; the brown trout is a symbol of Armenian rivers. Its disappearance disrupts the entire ecosystem, reduces the vitality of the rivers, and harms the socio-economic life of local communities. Unfortunately, this issue is not widely covered. Many people do not even imagine that a silent destruction is underway in Armenia's rivers, threatening our nature and our future.

THE SOLUTION

"This is our homeland, our rivers, our mountains... Our country's ecosystem thrives on this land. But... do we know what is happening in this wonderful world? Where are the living treasures of our rivers—the brown trout and other fish species—disappearing to?"

THE TEAM

Armenian Sport Spinning Federation

• Role in the project: Responsible for the professional and sporting direction. The Federation unites the industry's leading athletes and experts who have participated in and organized numerous national and international competitions. Our goal is to develop and popularize sport fishing in Armenia as a discipline focused on nature conservation.

Tigran Sargsyan

• Role in the project: Social Media Manager, responsible for the project's communication and promotional strategy. Tigran Sargsyan is a 3rd-degree disabled serviceman who wants to show through his own example that sports and teamwork are accessible to everyone. He has over 7 years of experience in the SMM field, having collaborated with various companies and foundations to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

BUDGET

Total campaign budget: 12,000,000 AMD

The funds raised will be transparently allocated to the following key areas of the film's production:

• Pre-production: Script development, selection of experts and locations.
• Production Phase: Equipment rental, film crew salaries, logistics, and transportation costs.
• Post-production: Editing, sound and color correction, graphic design.
• Distribution and Marketing: Promotion of the film on social media and media platforms.
