The Green Ambassadors project, initiated by Eco Group Youth Environmental NGO, is on a mission to transform Armenia’s environmental landscape by empowering youth to lead sustainable, community-based change. The "Green Ambassadors" project is poised to make a substantial impact on Armenia by:

PROBLEM

The "Green Ambassadors" project addresses several critical environmental challenges in Armenia:

• Lack of Environmental Awareness: There is a need for greater public understanding of environmental issues, their local and global impacts, and everyday actions to mitigate these effects.
• Insufficient Youth Engagement: Young people often lack opportunities to actively participate in or lead environmental conservation efforts, limiting their potential to contribute to sustainable development.
• Community Inaction: Many communities are either unaware of or uninvolved in practical actions that can significantly reduce environmental degradation.

SOLUTION

Phase 1: Recruitment and Training

• Recruit 100 enthusiastic young participants through schools, social media, and community outreach from all 10 regions, including Yerevan.
• Conduct three intensive training workshops (3 days each) for the Green Ambassadors, focusing on environmental issues, project management, and leadership skills.

Phase 2: Action and Campaigns

• Launch dynamic community campaigns, led by Green Ambassadors, addressing pressing local environmental issues.
• Collaborate with local media and online platforms to raise awareness and showcase the positive impacts of these campaigns.

Phase 3: Expansion and Sustainability

• Evaluate the effectiveness of initial campaigns, gather community feedback, and refine strategies for greater impact.
• Scale up successful initiatives and explore new project ideas.
• Establish a mentorship program where experienced Green Ambassadors guide new participants, ensuring the project's sustainability and long-term impact.
