17 days agoAbout three years ago, a tragic and senseless accident changed the life of the family’s youngest son, 30-year-old Vladimir Gharibyan. He sustained a severe spinal injury—a penetrating comminuted fracture of the C5 and C6 vertebrae with complete spinal cord damage. Doctors initially gave him no chance of survival, but miracles do happen. Vladimir lived, yet he lost all sensation and movement below his chest and has been completely bedridden ever since.
For the past three years, he has been fighting for his life from his bed. In addition to his paralysis, he has developed serious kidney complications: his kidneys frequently become inflamed and stop functioning. In 2025, he underwent surgery at Erebuni Medical Center to remove bladder stones. Although he survived against all odds, he still cannot feel anything below his neck, cannot feed himself, and is unable to manage even his most basic daily needs.
Despite everything, this young man full of love for life has not lost hope that one day he will stand again. He continues to fight with remarkable strength and determination.
His family has done—and continues to do—everything possible to help restore his health. However, the treatment he needs is extremely expensive, and they cannot cover the costs alone.
Today, even the smallest act of support can change Vladimir’s life—giving him a real chance at recovery and the opportunity to once again care for himself and contribute to his family.
According to medical examinations and the final conclusion from Erebuni Medical Center, there is still a chance to restore his mobility if he is urgently transferred abroad before the spinal cord injury becomes permanently scarred.
To pursue this possibility, contact was recently re-established (January 22, 2026) with the VERITA NEURO Medical Center in Thailand. The planned treatment includes implantation of neurostimulators, stem cell transplantation, and comprehensive rehabilitation therapy. Through additional medical interventions, his motor functions—as well as the organs currently affected—may be gradually restored step by step.
Even the smallest contribution can help save a young life.

Dear donors,
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for taking part in the fundraising campaign launched to support my son, Vladimir Gharibyan, and to give him a new life. May God bless you all.
Due to a sudden deterioration in Vladimir’s health condition, the fundraising had been temporarily suspended. Now his condition has stabilized, and we are once again in contact with Dr. Nasiri from the Verita Neuro International Clinic in Thailand. We have sent Vladimir’s medical test results, and the surgery has been scheduled for July 2026. The total budget (including transportation costs) amounts to 72,037,500 AMD.
We would like to inform you that the fundraising is now active again, and your support is extremely important to us. Thank you very much.
Respectfully,
Vladimir’s mother — Knarik
"Give life to Vladimir" fundraising is temporarily suspended, because Vladimir's parents have to transfer money to their son's fund organized on the reArmenia platform. The parents have put their apartment up for sale and need to transfer the proceeds from the sale. The house has not yet been sold, and the parents are actively working on selling the house as soon as possible.
