THE AIM OF THE PROJECT

"Bari Arjuk" has been created to bring quality, colourful and aesthetic content to Armenian children, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy and love the Armenian language and their own culture through songs from an early age.

The newly created YouTube channel will distribute high-quality Armenian-language content as an alternative to foreign-language clips.

WHY IS THIS NECESSARY

Have you ever tried to search for Armenian children's songs on YouTube? We assure you that their rarity and design will be the answer to the question of necessity.

Children master digital tools from an early age and it is necessary for them to have enough choice that would contribute to their harmonious development.

PROCESS

The content is created in the following steps:

1. By consulting with parents, pedagogues and psychologists, an Armenian favourite children's song is chosen.
2. The consent of the songwriters is obtained, while preserving all copyrights (if applicable).
3. A recording is made with the participation of the best singers and instrumentalists.
4. A colourful animation is created.

TEAM

The author of the idea is Anush Margaryan, a mother of two boys, art historian by profession, translator and photographer by occupation. Anush has been working on this project for half a year now. As a result, a talented and devoted team has been formed and the first song-animation has been created.

The musical producer is Vakhtang Harutyunyan, the founder of M-Studio Recordings studio, known to the public as the director of Bard Club of Armenia and the author and producer of the Sail of Hope annual international festival of bard songs.

The artist of the project is Lilit Vagharshyan, who has a unique style. Lilit graduated from the graphic department of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, illustrates children's books, works as an artist in animated films, is engaged in artistic printing, paints decorative canvases.

The animation consultants are Gleb Belyakov and Karina Pogorelova who have been at the heart of a number of Russian children's animation projects.

THE ROLE OF FUNDRAISING

Thanks to the fundraising, three clips will be produced to share new colours and positive mood with our children, growing up in days full of uncertainties and challenges. This will increase the number of the quality content in the Armenian language and contribute to the preservation of cultural identity.

The cost of recording each song is 1 million drams, and the creation of animation costs appr. 1 million two hundred thousand drams.
