IMPACT

The event aims to transform the tech landscape in Armenia by providing invaluable learning experiences, networking opportunities, and career advancements for over 500 attendees. With a focus on FinOps, MLOps, and Security, we aim to foster a robust tech ecosystem that supports growth and innovation. Last year's AWS events in Armenia successfully engaged hundreds of participants, elevating local expertise and building strong community ties.

PROBLEM

Armenia's tech community lacks sufficient opportunities for professional development and global exposure. This event addresses the urgent need for high-quality training, networking, and knowledge sharing to keep pace with global tech advancements. Previous years have shown a growing demand for such initiatives, highlighting the necessity for consistent, high-caliber events.

SOLUTION

Our solution is to host a comprehensive community-led event featuring expert-led workshops, hands-on labs, and networking sessions. We will leverage local and international expertise to deliver content that is both relevant and impactful. Resources needed include funding for venue, marketing, speaker fees, and volunteer support. Powered by AWS, we ensure that the event meets global standards and provides unparalleled value to participants.

TEAM

Our team, led by Kristine Armiyants, AWS User Group Armenia leader, includes experts like Elen Yeghiazaryan (Graphic designer and Content Manager), Tigran Gevorgyan (AWS UG core team member, Speaker Coordinator), Lina Adamyan (Catering and Volunteer Coordinator), Hovhannes Mikayelyan (Technical Lead, Speaker Coordinator), Gayane Martoyan (Event Coordinator), Henrik Armenakyan (Frontend Engineer), Bagrat Harutyunyan (Speaker Prep), and Vahe Momjyan (Speaker Selection, Prep and Coordinator). Together, we bring extensive experience in IT, event planning, Speaker preparation and AWS technologies to ensure the success of AWS Community Day Armenia 2024.
