The First Video Encyclopedia about Artsakh

SHORT DESCRIPTION

This project aims to create an accessible and comprehensive video encyclopedia, allowing everyone to learn about the history of Artsakh — from ancient times to the depopulation of Armenians. Based on objective facts, the project will provide answers to all controversial issues regarding the history of Artsakh. It will also address and counter the theses promoted by Azerbaijani state propaganda, which seeks to distort the real history.

IMPACT

Anyone, anywhere in the world, will be able to access reliable information about Artsakh — grounded in genuine, objective historiography, and not in Azerbaijani propaganda.

PROBLEM

Today, given the enormous resources that Azerbaijan invests in its state policy of falsifying the region’s history, there is a risk that their narratives may appear to be objectively correct.

It is therefore essential to ensure the objectivity of information about Artsakh. Everyone interested should have the opportunity to obtain impartial and factual knowledge. Countering Azerbaijani propaganda requires consistent and systematic effort.

SOLUTION

It is necessary to consolidate information about the real historical developments in Artsakh, Armenia, and the broader region into one platform in a clear and accessible form.

Nowadays, it is difficult to find many people who, even if interested in the region’s history, would devote time to reading dozens of books.

The purpose of this project is to gather all information regarding disputed issues and present it in a visually engaging, accessible, and comprehensive way through video materials.

The film series will be produced in English, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, and French and will be continuously promoted through active advertising campaigns.
