💡 Interestingly, it was here, in Zovaber, that director Marat Varzhapetyan filmed a scene from the opera "Anush" in 1983. 

💡 This film is an adaptation of the opera by Armen Tigranyan, based on the poem by Hovhannes Tumanyan.

The development process has begun

📍 On March 10th, 30 women gathered in Zovaber to shape their stable future.

📚 On this day, the main educational course of the "Harehas" program launched.

In just 3 hours, the participants explored:

✅ English,

✅ Project management.

💡 Interestingly, all the subjects complement each other. For instance, the English vocabulary is carefully chosen to help participants develop 💻 computer skills, which will, in turn, be valuable in many other fields.

The women arrived fully prepared and inspired, driven by a strong desire to move forward ✨🙌

March 8th in Zovaber

This year, the "Hareas" team celebrated International Women's Day in the village of Zovaber.

It was truly symbolic to mark this day in the very village where, just a day before, we laid the foundation for women’s empowerment and the transformation of thousands of families' lives.

The reflection of dance as a gift

In the village of Zovaber, one of the two children's development programs is the dance ensemble “Ani” founded by Ani Mkrtchyan 💐

Here, children not only learn to dance but also explore the history of Armenian dance and traditional movements. Dance becomes a means of self-discovery, cultural enrichment, and an enjoyable way to spend their time ✨

At the event celebrating the launch of "Harehas" the members of the ensemble performed the Kochari dance.

Among the attendees was Gagik Mesrobyan, a representative of the company "Prof Glass" who, noticing the absence of a mirror in the dance hall, sent one to the village the next day as a gift 🪟 🎁

Ani notes, "In dance, having a mirror is essential. When a child sees their movements in the mirror, it becomes much easier for them to master them compared to doing so without one."

Now, the girls and boys can perform their dances with greater confidence and professionalism, perfecting their movements in front of the mirror 💃🕺✨

The long-awaited launch of the "Harehas" program

📅 On March 7, the "Harehas" program officially launched. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the program’s founder and leader, Adriana Marutyun 🎀✂️

👩‍👧‍👦 The event was attended by the women participants of the project along with their families, the instructors, and everyone who is with us and believes in the power of change.

💃 The "ANI" dance ensemble from the village performed the Kochari dance, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere.

📜 The participants were given another overview of the program, highlighting how it will transform their lives.

🍽️ The festive table was prepared by the women of the village, offering traditional Armenian dishes made with love and warmth.

🔥 By the end of the day, everyone’s eyes were shining with hope and anticipation of new opportunities.
