Our team was in Geghamasar again this week 😍

This time we were joined by our friends VIVA. Doctors and Volunteers for Armenia, who taught the children the basics of first aid and how to provide first aid in emergency situations.

And we, we still have a lot to hear about Geghamasar village 🤗

About 600 young people from all regions of Armenia had the opportunity to get acquainted and ask questions of interest to more than 100 specialists from various fields. 🔥

This is one of the most pivotal moments of the Powerful Community - Network Hour, when the community expands. 🚀

😍 Continuing the visits to the Powerhouse, this time the destination was the village of Gandzak in the Gegharkunik region.

😊 Here we had an interesting and eventful day with the youth, during which:

✅️ we talked about the Powerhouse, projects and opportunities,

✅️ we had a seminar on the professions of the future,

✅️ we played interesting ice-breaker games,

✅️ we discussed community problems and thought about their solutions, as well as the youth thought about their role in those solutions,

✅️ and of course we concluded the day with national dances.

This time our team's destination was the village of Tsovak in Gegharkunik region 😍

Let's tell you a little about the village 🤩👇

This unique village, hidden on the shores of Lake Sevan, at an altitude of 1920 m above sea level, where every corner bears the traces of history: the rocks that have seen the passage of centuries, the lake, in the waters of which the walls of the old fortress and the path of cultural development have been reflected.

There is a cave with inscriptions in the village, which was formed during the campaigns of Timur the Great.

In Tsovak, we visited a school, where not only the local youth, but also the youth of the village of Lusakunk gathered, who had come to get acquainted with the children of the neighboring village, and during the visit we were also joined by the youth of Tsovasar and Karchaghbyur 🥰

🥰 In the heart of Gegharkunik region, surrounded by mountains, far from the noise and rush of the city, lies Lusakunk, a cozy village known for its charming nature and hospitable population.

The young people say that the village was founded in 1828 by 7 families who migrated from the Archn region of Van in Western Armenia.

🤗 Today we managed to have a rich and productive day with local youth.

🤩 We talked about the Power of the Mind and the Power of Networking, had a seminar on Self-Awareness and Self-Improvement, an evening where we got to know each other better, played the Haykian quiz and concluded the beautiful day with national dances.

We managed to stop in Tavush, Sevkar, Paravakar, Aghavnavank and Sarigiugh villages.

🔥 Noticing the progress of young people during their visit to Sarigiugh, Traveling Books will stop in Sarigiugh on April 14. Well, the local youth will carry out the organizational work on the spot.

🔥 The youth of Varagavan participating in the visit to Paravakar promised to organize a walk by bringing together the youth of neighboring communities to Varagavan.

🔥 The youth of Aghavnavank organized a walking tour to Aghavnavank after the previous visit. On April 27, you can participate in the campaign, enjoy discussions with young people and Tovmas Arakel.

🔥 During the meeting with the youth of Sevkar, we learned about Sako from Sevkar, about whom the local youth promised to organize an event to raise awareness.

Our communities are strong with the local youth who, with a small spark, can even "ignite" and start the change.

This time we visited the Syunik region, the village of Shaqi, where we brought together the local, Sisian and Angeghakot young people.

During the visit:

🔥 together with young people, we carried out group work on the existing problems in the Syunik region and held a discussion about their deep causes and possible solutions.

🔥 we also conducted a seminar on using Google effectively and safely

🔥 we watched a clip from the movie "The will to stand up".

🔥 and, of course, we learned and danced national dances together

A responsible and educated generation is on its way.✊

We visited the village of Gogaran in the Lori region, where the young people of Spitak, Sarahart and the local area gathered together to open new opportunities.

During the visit, the participants:

✅Discovered how to set goals and achieve them

✅They imagined their dream homeland

✅And, of course, they learned national dances.

And we wrapped up the day with interesting conversations around a warm bonfire.

Օգոստոսի 8-ից 13-ը Հզոր Մտքի Ցանցից 44 մարզեցիների համար կայացավ «Հայրենիք» խորագրով վրանային ճամբար։

Ճամբարի գերհագեցած և բովանդակալից օրերի ընթացքում մեր ճամբարականները հասցրեցին ունենալ`

Ճամբարի շրջանակներում ևս մեկ անգամ համոզվեցինք ` այստեղ հավաքված են պատասխանատվություն վերցնող ու Հայրենիքի զարգացման գործում իրենց դերը գիտակցող սերնդի ներկայացուցիչներ։

This time we have come to tell about the successes of the youth of Khndzorut.

The destination of the next visit of the "Strong Mind" team was Khndzorut village of Vayots Dzor. After the visit, the active young people of the community created an initiative team and started to engage in activities aimed at community activation, organized camps.

And recently, together with "Strong Mind" , they held an event in which more than 60 young people from Vayots Dzor participated.

During the event, the youth of Khndzorut told about the creation of the village, historical and cultural places, talked about their goals, together we made a trip to Oghpin, danced national dances, organized competitions.

Today they are already preparing for the opening of the youth center.

Our visits initiate positive changes in communities!

We have come to share with you one of the success stories recorded as a result of our visits.

In February, the Strong Mind team visited Yelpin village, Vayots Dzor region, where held seminars and discussions with young people from the local and neighboring communities on the topic of developing their abilities and media literacy, together discussed the problems and opportunities of their activism in the communities, and their role in providing new solutions.

As a result of continuous work with the youth of Yelpin, recently, with the support of Strong Mind, the youth of Yelpin village and the village hall, the opening of the Yelpin Hzoranots (youth center) took place, which is aimed at uniting young people and concentrating their forces in the activation and development of the community.

Today, young people gather in the youth center, watch movies, organize entertainment and intellectual games, discuss community issues.
