SHORT SUMMARY

The GLAD (Girls Leadership and Development) camp is a 4-day program designed for girls aged 13-17.

This time, the camp will include 50 girls․

In the rural communities of Lori region, adolescent girls have limited opportunities to develop leadership, self-confidence, and essential life skills.

Schools often fail to provide the practical knowledge and experiences needed to grow into independent, proactive, and collaborative individuals. As a result, students do not develop a strong sense of social responsibility or active civic engagement.

For girls from more socially vulnerable groups, the issue is even more serious due to limited resources and the lack of a motivating environment.

These challenges are present across all villages in the consolidated Pambak community.

As a result of the camp, the girls will gain practical skills in communication, collaboration, self-awareness, and decision-making.

They will learn to better utilize their strengths and navigate both their personal and community lives with greater independence.

Expected Outcomes

• At least 6 thematic workshops will be organized, focusing on leadership, self-awareness, communication skills, teamwork, negotiation and conflict resolution, and entrepreneurship.
• A minimum of 3 team projects will be developed and presented at the end of the camp.
• At least 5 initiative groups will be formed during the camp to discuss local community issues and propose small-scale ideas for future implementation.
• At least 30 participants will take on a team responsibility or an organizational role during the camp.
