During the summer, we organized a series of webinars on AI tools for teachers of Informatics, Technology, and Mathematics. Over 50 teachers actively participated, and the recordings are available on YouTube.

In this webinar, AI automation expert Aram Margaryan demonstrates how to create professional landing pages with the help of artificial intelligence, without any programming knowledge.

In this webinar, teachers learned what automation is and how to create automations from scratch using make.com. They got acquainted with the main tools of make.com and created their first automations.

For the last webinar, we collaborated with the reArmenia team. Together, we explored how modern tools can simplify a teacher's work and make the learning process more engaging.

From May 11 to 15, the founders of "Codzilla" educational center, David Khachatryan and Gohar Khachatryan, participated in the 21st "Bebras" (Beaver) conference at Seoul National University in South Korea.

The conference takes place every year, and this was the 3rd one in which representatives from Armenia also participated. Around 120 representatives from various parts of the world were present at the conference.

The main purpose of the conference is to summarize the achievements of the Bebras community from the previous year, integrate new members, and organize the tasks for the upcoming year's competition.

During the conference, David Khachatryan presented the successes registered in the "Bebras" competition in Armenia.

During the team meetings, we finalized more than 100 new tasks for the "Bebras" 2025 competition.

Our achievements registered at the conference:

• Both problems proposed by Armenia have been accepted by the union and for the first time in 22 years, they will be part of the "Bebras" challenge.
• The research results have shown that Armenia has not had any shortcomings in fulfilling its responsibilities.
• A researchers' union has been formed, where various statistics will be derived and serve the development of education in participating countries. We are also part of it.

It turned out that the 2026 conference will be held at Cambridge University in England.

The conference concluded with excursions and a Gala dinner.

The book with the 2024 problems of the "Bebras" international informatics competition is already published. There has never been a book in Armenian with such content in Armenia.

On March 23, during the awards ceremony, we will donate these books to informatics teachers to use in the teaching process.

More about the competition

We are pleased to share the second part of the project report. We have had the following achievements:

Two members of our team traveled to South Korea in May to represent Armenia at the 21st Bebras workshop, where they:

• Participated in the selection and final improvement process for the Bebras 2025 tasks.
• Presented Armenia's participation in the competition, including its achievements and successes, during the "Speakers' Corner."
• Presented a strategy developed by the Armenian team during the "Speakers' Corner" on how to equip public school teachers with new materials using Bebras resources. The strategy involves creating a community of practice, through which international experience and knowledge will be made accessible to all member countries of the Bebras initiative.
• We conducted three webinars for informatics teachers on the topic of the "Teacher's AI Toolkit." The goal was to enhance the teachers' knowledge of AI tools to help them organize more effective and efficient lessons. Details here.
• High school students who participated in the competition came to Yerevan and visited the Synopsys Armenia company.
• We have started preparations for the "Kughb" (Bebras) 2025 competition. Specifically, we are participating in online meetings to decide on the format and content of the competition.
• We have made updates to the website. We have added the interactive section from last year's competition.

Summarizing our activities, we can highlight 3 main accomplishments:

1. From November 17 to December 7, 2024, we conducted the Bebras International Informatics Competition in 37 schools across 9 regions of Armenia, with 2,159 students from grades 1-12 participating. You can watch the students' reactions in the video.

2․ We summarized the results during the Awards Ceremony. You can learn more details in the article.

3․ From May 11 to 16, we participated in the 21st Bebras Conference in South Korea, where the problems for the 2025 competition were discussed and finalized.
