About collaboration projects

Collaboration projects require tangible needs (equipment, clothing, computers, etc.) as well as the support of people through their knowledge, experience, and/or connections to solve a specific problem.

Collaboration Needs

Computers

And so, we start the fifth stage of computer assembly for the talented young people of the regions. In the previous 4 stages we have already collected and delivered 40 computers.

Problem

Do you know how many talented young people we deprive of rapid growth, how many benefits our economy does not get, when we "do not remember" them today ․․․

How many companies like Picsart or other Unicorn startups (with a market value of $1 billion) we could have today if 10 years ago we would provide the youth living in the regions with computers?

One of the main reasons why children and teens don't get professional education is because they don't have computers. Statistics shows that only 15-20% of the best students have computers, and the others either have smartphones, or don't have any devices.

According to the statistics, in 2021-2022 the project helped to provide devices to people living in the Armenian regions, and about 54.8% of those who received computers have already got remote jobs, so they wont' have to leave their towns and villages. In this way, the helps to solve the demographic problem that is a significant challenge for Armenia.

Solution

How can we collaborate?

Below we are presenting a list of 15 talented young people from the Armenian regions who need computers, new or used. They were chosen according to their social status, interests, active participation in community development and volunteering.

Knarik Davtyan, Aragatsotn region, village Ashnak, 16 years old. She has been a volunteer at MEM for 1 year and 3 months. To develop professional skills and knowledge, being a member of many programs, the new computer will help to work better and faster, implement programs in school and community. She wants to become a graphic designer, but some design programs do not work on her current computer due to the weakness of the computer.

Anahit Martirosyan, Lori region, village Margahovit, 19 years old. Anahit has been a MEM volunteer for 1.5 years, and during that time she managed to do a lot of volunteer work and was involved in many programs. Suzanna Poghosyan - Ararat region, village Surenavan, 15 years old. She has been a volunteer at MEM for 5 months. There are many jobs that Suzanna wants to do, but because she doesn't have the proper equipment, she can't do them.
